Adaptive reuse was the project's primary focus. We were asked to design the space with careful attention to all pre-existing details, with a goal of minimal demolition. This practice spoke to the client's ethics; while retaining some historical and monetary assets along the way. The design aesthetic was rooted in the client's eclectic taste.
